• Fixes problem with mails not being received starting 08/08/2002

Please follow these instructions for upgrading:

1. Stop eNetBot Mail from running on your PC by finding the eNetBot Mail icon in the system tray and right clicking and selecting the exit button.  If you cannot find the eNetBot icon in the system tray it means that eNetBot is not running and you can go to the next step.
2. Please download this updated install program by clicking on the link above and save it to your disk. Double click on the downloaded enetbotmail.exe and follow the install program screens.
3. Then start eNetBot Mail again for the changes to take effect.
   
   

• Fixes problem with incorrect dates of 1970 and 2106.
• Fixes problems with oleacc.dll not found on Windows 95/98/ME. (Users who are affected by this change should get the full install from the link above and not use the update wizard.)

Problem with "AOL servers unavailable error"

The problem with the AOL server unavailable error message appearing in some cases has been fixed.

Option added for managing Outlook timeout when downloading large files

This option is found under Tools menu >> Options and will prevent Outlook (in Corporate Mode) from terminating an connection when downloading a large file attachment. This option will be turned off by default.

Add @aol.com to internal AOL addresses

This version automatically adds a @aol.com to AOL addresses that do not have the proper domain suffix.

Remove spaces in outgoing AOL email addresses

This version automatically fixes the problem with spaces in AOL addresses.

Fixed problems with eBay utilities

This version fixes some problems with eBay utilities such as Seller's assistant.

Option added to send multiple attachments as Self Extracting files

The previous versions packaged multiple attachments as zip archives. This was a problem for users receiving these archives who did not  have a zip utility like WinZip installed on their PC. We have added an option under Tools >> Options to optionally send multiple attachments as self extracting files. This means that users on the receiving end of any email sent through eNetBot Mail will not be required to have any zip utility installed.

Problem with Update Wizard error fixed

The problem with the update wizard displaying an internal error is fixed.

Problem with saving settings fixed

The previous version failed to save settings such as update setting, Keep on top, etc. This has been addressed in this release.

Problem sending with Becky, Act! and Eudora

This build fixes problems with sending with the above email programs.

Problem with single file attachments being sent as zip files

This build sends single file attachments as they are. The "Always send in rich format" option under Tools >. Options should be unchecked for this to work. Multiple file attachments will be zipped and sent as one file.

Error messages made unobtrusive - a small popup window appears near the system tray for 10 seconds and disappears when an error is encountered. A list of all error messages that occurred during that session can also be viewed from the View >> Error Messages menu.
