I am already connected to the internet using AOL (or any other ISP) and I want to check mail using that connection in Eudora, but when I check for mail, it pops up with a dialog box to connect

Please follow these steps:

1. Select Tools menu >> Options menu

2. Scroll down to the Internet Dialup icon and click on it. You should see the dialog shown below:

3. Make sure that the Have Eudora connect using Dial-up networking option is not selected.

4. Close the dialog by clicking on OK.
